Emily is a virology PhD candidate minoring in bioinformatics and genetics. Beyond this fellowship, she has gained experience at the intersection of AI and biology through an internship at Sandia National Labs, contributions to SecureBio’s Virology Capabilities Test and completion of the BlueDot Biosecurity course. She will also undertake a MATS fellowship.
