Gravity holds an HBSc in Genetics from the University of Toronto, where she led a project on adult neural stem cell regeneration in the van der Kooy Lab. She also conducted CRISPR-Cas engineering research at the National University of Singapore. A committed science communicator, she writes about Huntington’s disease for HDBuzz. Her research interests lie at the intersection of AI, biosecurity and genetic engineering, particularly the dual-use risks of precision genetic medicine. Following Pivotal, she will begin research at the University of Oxford focused on therapeutic genomics for neurological disorders.
