Shayna is a biosecurity policy professional, science communicator and journalist. She covered emerging science and technology as a Vox Future Perfect Fellow and worked on the Nuclear Threat Initiative Global Biological Policy and Programs team (NTI | bio). She holds an MS in Biohazardous Threat Agents & Emerging Infectious Diseases from Georgetown University.
